Setup: run mode (VPS)

What it is

JOEY Virtual Machine (VPS) is the hosted alternative to the browser extension. Instead of JOEY running inside Chrome on your own computer, it runs on dedicated hardware time set aside for your account. No computer to leave on, no browser to keep open. It targets a 24/7 duty cycle.

Pricing

JOEY Virtual Machine is a $39 per month add-on. It is included with plans $500 per month and up. On lower plans it can be added for $39 per month. Limited-time promotion: until September, every plan has VPS access at no extra charge.

How to enable it

  1. Open Settings. From your JOEY dashboard, go to Settings, then the JOEY Extension

section, titled "Run JOEY your way."

  1. Pick JOEY Virtual Machine. Select the card. Your choice saves right away.
  2. Enter your own CRM login. You enter your own DriveCentric login yourself, either into

the Credentials vault on that same page or into the VPS directly through the remote viewing tool. It is encrypted the moment you save it. Nobody on our side types it for you.

  1. Join early access. This records your request. It does not start anything on its own;

setup today is concierge-style: our team provisions your machine by hand after you join.

Safety

  • Runs automatically, same as the extension. You pick the mode: draft-only, where JOEY drafts

and you send, or auto-send with review. Every mode is human-supervised, because the terms require you to watch the screen during the hours you schedule JOEY to run.

  • The same suppression rules apply. Coworker notes and opt-outs are respected automatically,

hosted or not.

  • JOEY Virtual Machine is the mode of operation available today. The Chrome extension is

coming soon as a selectable mode from this screen (it is separately downloadable and functional as a drafting tool, see Setup: the Chrome extension).

  • Live sending on a hosted runner stays locked until our team signs it off for your account;

it is never something you can flip on yourself from the dashboard. Once on, it still runs supervised: you agree in the terms to keep eyes on the screen while JOEY is on.

Frequently asked

Do I need my computer on? No. Once it is live for your account, JOEY runs on hosted hardware, not your computer.

Can I switch modes? JOEY Virtual Machine is selected by default and is the mode available today. The browser extension is coming soon as a selectable mode and cannot be picked from this screen yet.

Is my CRM login shared? It is stored encrypted the moment you save it in the Credentials vault, and fetched only when the hosted runner needs it, over an encrypted connection. It is never logged, and no one at MADITECH, including support, can read it back.

How long does early access take? Setup is concierge style; our team reaches out to provision your machine by hand after you join the list. There is no fixed timeline published.
